# tanitdata > tanitdata is an AI-native studio based in Tunis, Tunisia, working at the > intersection of open data, artificial intelligence, and public policy. The > studio closes the gap between open data and public understanding in the AI > era through a single practice in three stages: (1) access — AI-native > infrastructure that makes open data directly addressable by AI assistants; > (2) analyze — the studio and its research fellows turn accessible data into > specific, contestable, empirically grounded conclusions; (3) inform — > publishing designed for how public actors, funders, journalists, and civil > society actually read, so that evidence reaches the people whose decisions > it should inform. A distinctive voice runs across the three stages: public > positioning on how open data should be made accessible in the AI era, with > particular attention to the Global South. The site publishes primarily in > French; selected pages are available in English. ## Publication types (unified in the Library) - Use cases / Cas d'usage - Walkthroughs / Méthodologies - Data audits / Audits de données - Policy briefs / Briefings - Research notes / Notes de recherche - Technical notes / Notes techniques - Announcements / Annonces ## Programs (long-term strategic umbrellas) Every tool and publication is also organized into one or more programs.
